Securis recruits Armand Foy from Pillar to strengthen its North American distribution

Securis Investment Partners, a London-based specialist in insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment management, has announced the appointment of Armand Foy as its Investor Relations lead for North America.

The company stated that Foy’s addition will enhance its distribution capabilities across the North American market.

Previously, Foy served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Pillar Capital Management, a Bermuda-based ILS manager. Before that, he spent 11 years at Resolute Global Partners (formerly ILS Capital Management) in a similar capacity.

Foy’s career includes extensive experience in insurance and reinsurance, focusing on joint ventures, securitized, and structured products during his time at RenaissanceRe’s Ventures division, XL Capital, Catlin, and Zurich. He has also held positions at Butterfield Asset Management and consultancy EY.

Securis highlighted Foy’s deep expertise in the ILS asset class, with over 15 years of experience in business development and investor relations, particularly with institutional investors and investment consultants in North America.

This announcement follows last year’s news of the planned merger between Securis Investment Partners and Twelve Capital, two specialist ILS managers.
