Lockton Re appoints Eric Paire from Aon as Head of Capital Advisory.

Lockton Re, the reinsurance division of the independent broking group, has appointed Eric Paire, formerly Aon’s Head of Capital Advisory, as its new Head of Capital Advisory Practice. Paire will be based in London.

Paire spent nearly seven years leading Aon’s Capital Advisory team and previously held senior roles at Guy Carpenter, including Head of Global Partners & Strategic Advisory EMEA and Director at GC Securities. His extensive industry background also includes positions at Scor, Le Blanc de Nicolay, and AXA Re, as well as serving as a director at Perils AG.

Lockton Re highlighted Paire’s strong track record of delivering innovative strategic advice and solutions, as well as his deep understanding of evolving client needs.

Commenting on the hire, Robert Bisset, Chairman of Global Retrocession & Property Specialty, Bermuda, and Market Capital, said the appointment reflects Lockton Re’s ongoing investment in its Capital Markets and Capital Advisory capabilities. He praised Paire’s creativity and strong reputation across London, Europe, and the global market, emphasizing his expertise in areas such as Lloyd’s, structured capital solutions, and both prospective and retrospective structured transactions.
